Roger Villarroya (Barcelona, 1985)
He graduated as an audiovisual director and completed his studies at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, where he studied film direction.
His debut as a solo director, with the short filmCapicua, achieved official selections at festivals around the world and was awarded in several countries after winning the Grand Jury Prize at the VIII Edition of the Notodofilmfest. The short film was also pre-selected for the Goya Awards.
Roger has written and directed several award-winning short films such asStains,MoralesorA question of etiquette. His recent short filmNanaHe won more than twenty awards at prestigious film festivals.
Currently, Roger is writing his first feature film and combining his career as a film director with advertising.
